    Bargaining Matters Issue 13, January 17, 2014

    The UTP and PUSD Bargaining Teams met for negotiations.  UTP's Bargaining Team continues to push for RESTORING and ENHANCING our compensation.  The District's counterproposals show that YOU ARE NOT VALUED.  The next Bargaining Session is January 31.  UTP members will RALLY at the School Board on January 30th.  Your presence is critical to getting the Contract Agreement settled! 

    When we showed up and shut down themeeting, we saw that the District removed the CAP on health benefits.  We need to secure a reasonable salary increase and close the contract!

    Bargaining Matters Issue 12: December 13, 2013

    On Friday, December 13, 2013, the UTP and PUSD Bargaining Teams met for negotiations toward an agreement on Health and Welfare benefits and Salary.   The District is not yet offering a proposal that shows its commitment to honor the Contract to RESTORE and ENHANCE.  The next bargaining session scheduled is January 17, 2014, when the UTP Bargaining Team will present its counter-proposal #7.  In the meantime, we will remain with the status quo plans, and the rates will continue as they are going into the new year.
